Arrowroot is a thickening agent used in cooking and it is more popular in the US as it's sourced from Central America. You can buy it off the shelf in the supermarket here next to the gelatine, baking powder and other home baking ingredients. However, most people here don't traditionally use it as a cure for diarrhoea. You just mix it with water or flour in a pan for a couple of minutes in the same way you'd start a basic sauce. Once it thickens to a sticky custard you eat it like a pudding. It tastes quite nice and settles the stomach. It's not a cure all but can help temporarily relieve symptoms.Re: A cure for sibo ????
