Not really, just the usual common taps!
I believe these were in the shape of a swan or something similar. Considered the height of opulence and much discussed in hushed tones by the wider family. If they'd had the equivalent of footballers wives in the 70s she would be one.

Gold and diamond encrusted taps do sound lovely though in this day and age. I'd love a waterfall tap perhaps in brass in a marble tub.

Do you remember those sunken baths you'd get in Ideal Home magazine?

My parents installed a light green bathroom suite in the 70s. I always lamented the fact that it wasn't avocado.

Going back to the very early 70's, we decided on Armitage Shanks Sun King for our main bathroom and standard white for all the other sanitary ware elsewhere in the house.

Ours was yellow, loo, basin & bath, it isn't now, now it's white. When late OH changed the bath room into a shower room with loo & basin & the old loo into a seperate loo, he also put a white loo in that one.

I think the worst ones were the brown ones (apologies if anyone had/has one) but who wants to get into a brown bath?
