Have a Christmas Glass With Me!
The double glazers are coming in, next week, for 2 days to replace 5, ordinary, upstairs windows with double glazed ones, at the rear of the house.Yes, did the rest 20 plus years ago and kept putting off finishing the job until now.
Anyway, I have just removed the screening from the patio, so that they can get in with their ladders and am about to take down all of the aerial wiring, etc, to the back upstairs rooms, because the wires went through the wooden window frames.
After they finish I'll have to rebuild the gazebo, refit the wirng, you name it.
I hope it's worth it? (£3,200)
Why didn't they do this part of the work?
Because it would add more than a thousand to the cost!
Hopefully my Children will benefit, from the improved house value, when I pop off!
