Half size doors?

Can you get half size doors for indoors...like the half stable door type?

Do you mean half height?

I wouldn't recommend it, you lose your fire barrier.

For that reason I doubt it.

I'm not sure how insurance companies view no doors re fire spread.

I have no door between my lounge and kitchen atm ..my lounge has two doors but only one door the other door way was blocked up and it has been re opened and now it has no door to it so I would like to maybe get another door but dont want a solid type door between the two rooms if you understand what I mean..

My internal kitchen door is stable type Aysa, but it was already here when I came, so might have been a DIY job, no idea.
It's invaluable for the dogs though.

A few years ago the firemen came to do a risk assessment, can't remember why now, and they didn't comment on the door at that time.


Ask Tpin to carry some tools with him when he comes down on his bike.

With so much open plan living these days it seems odd an insurer would worry.

Anyway when my mil needed one she had it made it cost very little more than buying one and it was split in the proportions she needed too.
