Still wet, wild & very windy here. We had a hail storm a short while ago, but now the sun is trying, but not making it, as yet more dark clouds gather over head. The wind is howling around the sun lounge.

Heavy rain and strong 47mph wind here in the SW.

Although the temperature says 6ºC it feels more like 1ºC...

To add insult to the lousy weather, I have a daffodil in bloom!

I had a phone call from a friend in Cheshire, and was told it was snowing heavily and settled everywhere.

I'm not too worried yet, as that is over 100 miles away.
Got plenty of grub in for me and the pooches, and we are warm, so not much else we can do.

I've always said that if we have to suffer with cold, that compensation is always appreciated in the form of snowfall.

Someone on Facebook took these photos of Oswestry one hour ago on the old Racecourse Road which is about 1/4 mile from my front door. Beautiful but Brrrr.

I agree Mags. But unfortunately for many road users it can be dangerous and hazardous. Yes, I know...I'm stating the bl*****g obvious, but you know what I mean!
