Is this a fraud??

Whilst scanning the news headlines on google two days ago , an
advert popped up with a photo of Andy Murray with the words
Andy Murray reveals his secret of how to make money with small
outlay or some such thing ! As l am an admirer of Andy l clicked
onto this and a series of of photos of Andy and his mum came up
with text where Andy supposedly endorses a product called BIT
TRADER ad explains how ,for an outlay of £180 you can make
an income which will grow seemingly for ever?
I must have clicked something by accident because l was presented
with a series of similar endorsements from other people as well !Afte thinking about this for about ten minutes l tried to reconnect to this
article by google search, bt could find no trace of it, but l could
find he company called BIT TRADER which seemed to have no
connection to the article i first clicked on??
As l dont think Andy would be involved in anything shady l believe
someone could be using his name to attract mugs like me?
I have tried to report this to internet fraud agencies but have been
frustrated so far by their web sites complicated systems due to
their lack of human contact??
What more can l do??

Re: Is this a fraud??

It's a massive con.

If memory serves there was one that claimed to be endorsed by Martin Lewis.

Not the only one.

If you go to Martin Lewis's web site, you'll see him posting an informative message on every edition that his name is being misused on other web sites.

If in doubt, ignore them.

I also found one with Bear Grylls claiming to have made millions by investing and then watching the money rolling in.
Sounds very 'Iffy' to me Donkeyman.....

Rearrange these words into a well known phrase or saying;....

Pole Barge Touch With It a Wouldn't.....

Exactly what l did OGF!
But l was concrned about whether Andy Murray is aware of this ??
It seems that the article was only displayed for a short time and as
soon as l started clicking it activated something to make it
disappear after making a contact ???
I thought of emailing him but he is currently away at some tournament
and l dont want to spoil his concentration !From what you guys
have said this is definitely a scam but sad to say l have not come
across tis before?
Thanks guys!

I remember that too, Reg.
Didn't he sue them for using his name?

I wouldn't worry about his concentration donkeyman, he no doubt has people to see to all that sort of thing for him.

No need to worry about Andy's concentration now Donkeyman, he's been knocked out.....
https://metro.co.uk/2020/09/04/andy-...nnis-13225001/

Andy Murray is his own harshest critic and he did not hide the fact that his tame US Open exit was nowhere near his lofty standards. ‘I don’t want to lose in straight sets anywhere, and obviously certainly not in Grand Slams,’ said Murray, who had not lost a match in straight sets in the opening four rounds of a Grand Slam since 2006 prior to his 6-2 6-3 6-4 defeat to Felix Auger-Aliassime on Thursday night. There was little to be encouraged about from Murray’s perspective. Auger-Aliassime, who was admittedly excellent, sent 52 winners past the former world No. 1. Murray could only muster nine in response. Murray had picked out Auger-Aliassime’s serve as a potential weak point ahead of their encounter – in fairness, the second serve has been problematic in the past – but 24 aces whizzed past the Scot. One of the game’s greatest returners didn’t even muster a break point.
