Do you have anexplanation why france sends his highest dignitary to the EU commision. The netherlands don't send their highest dignitary, the king. Nor does the UK. Yet inthe commission they are all equals. How come?

Thanks for showing you haven't got a clue. No, we don't send our king and you your queen, because they are not democratically elected. In the commission the highest dignitaries from a country sit that were democratically elected. Our pm rutte and your pm may. France elects the president. So your statement that the memb ers of the EU commision are not elected proves to be another one of your lies. Again shot down in flames.

Hi

France, GDP 2018 was $2,774,158 million.

France CAP receipts from EU $ 8,96,000.

Hardly dependent.

Just out of interest, the UK was the fifth largest recipient of CAP last year.

There are many valid reasons to Leave, money is not one of them.

Re: Flexible extension???

Hi

The EU Commission is basically the Civil Service.

The EU Parliament is basically the same as our Parliament.

We have the House of Lords, unelected, jobs for the favoured.

The EU has the Council, all elected Heads of Government.

The EU Commission, like our Civil Service Drafts the Laws, in other words, the technical bits.

For a law to come into force, it has to be passed here by Parliament and the House of Lords, but Parliament can overrule the House of Lords.

In the EU, it has to be passed by both the EU Parliament and the EU Council.

I do not understand the fuss about Qualified Majority Voting in the EU.

It is exactly what we have here in the UK, Parliament takes a vote and the majority wins.

Now, is the EU a Gravy Train?

Most certainly yes.

So is our system, look at MP's Expenses and they way the greedy gits fiddle them.

Does the EU waste vast amounts of money with stupid schemes and cost overruns.

Most certainly yes.

Does the UK waste vast amounts of money with stupid schemes and cost overruns?

Most certainly yes., The Garden Bridge and Crossrail.

Does the EU pass stupid laws and regulations, most certainly yes.

Does the UK pass stupid laws and regulations, most definitely and a lot of them are sod all to do with the EU.

Does the EU have incompetent Politions?

Most certainly yes, but we have Dianne Abbott.

I was given the chance to vote to leave the EU, which I did.

This is phase one, dump the EU.

I would love there to be a phase two.

Dump our Politicians and start afresh.

Commission are not elected, they are appointed. The council are government heads and are elected by the member states.

Hi

Your original post.

Probably because France is totally dependant on the CAP.

Agriculture accounts for 1.5% of French GDP.

Once again please explain your false statement.
