Do you think it's right that Foreign workers are used in situations where H & S standards are ignored and often non existent?
Do you think it's right that British Construction workers who have studied for years to achieve recognisable qualifications and who work to safe sandards are undercut by unqualified foreigners who don't have a working knowledge of good standards of practice and H&S?
Same in the care industry where care homes have loads of untrained staff who do NOT know how to properly care for the old folk and dementia sufferers they're in charge of.............You like that , obviously!

It’s not necessarily a virtue .
Who wants to see his/ her child doing a shite job sleeping five to a room ? For how long for ever -how can you build a life on that ?

Half the problem with our welfare system is that it doesn't matter how much anyone puts in, everyone gets the same. When I was in Switzerland if I paid into the system for 2 years then if I was unemployed I would receive up to 80% of my salary for 2 years. If I refused a job 3 times then I would have my benefits cut to the bare minimum.

Yes why should able bodies not work is always a good question. If only life and people were so simple! You can only force someone to give 100% through slave labour. Basic motivation studies can tell you that if you look it up. People have to want to work and the work ethic must be there. Also the jobs must be there. People working have to be supported in order to do a good job. The onus is on the employer to look after staff but in our cut throat economy employers already struggle to survive. Removing a supply of cheap unskilled labour does not help a jot.
