Thing is that with anything stuck into the WWW it's not like a broadband transmission link, the amount of number crunching that has to be done is quite literally mind blowing.

To just scratch the surface check out the OSI protocols aka the Seven Layer Stack.

Then work forward from there. Because that's the point it gets REALLY complex.

I have absolutely no doubt that apart from deep knowledge of "where there be monsters" the USA cyber security lot include information leaked from operatives in deep cover in China itself.

We are making a big time error in going down this path.

So, to recap. if we get to be involved with Huawei, then in the event of a spat, with China, we get switched off.

That would complicate our negotiation position.

Then again, we already have foreign deals to get Gas, Electricity, Oil & other stuff.

In any dispute we could lose all of our strengths.

Imagine another war without any of those necessities.

What are we doing to remain independent?
