More Deluded Corbyn Vapourware

http://www.braintreeandwithamtimes.c...ough_sleeping/

According to the article, our duplicitous Mr ConByn has suggested he will ‘end’ rough sleeping.

Another Vapourware promise that anyone who works or volunteers in the "homeless" sector knows is utter BS.

Pandering to the hapless electorate Old Compo Corbyn said:

"Surely we can find it in ourselves to have a moral purpose, to end rough sleeping in this country"

He went on to say:

"Somewhere along the line, as a country, we have sort of become accepting of the idea that there are several thousand people who sit in shop doorways, around train stations, and spend the day begging to get money to go into a night shelter".

I put the key words in bold there lest Corbyn's BS got past readers unchallenged!

Corbyn, I have absolutely no doubt, knows exactly what the nub of the "homeless" problem is. And it's not lack of accommodation.

It is a situation driven purely on drink and drug addiction.

Those "several thousand people who sit in shop doorways, around train stations" spend the day begging to get MONEY FOR DRINK AND DRUGS, not for accommodation.

There are countless emergency shelters and housing services for people who have no accommodation. These "several thousand" people could go walk into any one of them today.

They CHOOSE NOT TO because they want all their money, benefits, begging proceeds, to go towards their drink/drug habits.

Comrade Corbyn is, as usual, peddling fictitious vapourware to pull at the heart strings of weak minded and largely ignorant voters. There is no way he will make even a dent on the "several thousands" of seemingly homeless people.

Why?

Because those people CHOOSE to be on the streets. It's where they go to work, it's their "office", it's where they earn their crust to feed their habits.

The ONLY solution to the problem is the eradication of the drug industry and spending £millions to provide proper rehab services to these people so they can get the monkey off their backs.

Corbyn is a twisted shyster who continues to say and promise anything he can dream up to garner votes.

Don't fall for it imo !

Ye Gods! You have sunk to new depths with that post, you really have. It is a typical Right wing fiction, a lie to obviate responsibility from the hideous Tories themselves, to seize on part of a problem and blow it up to be all the problem. Pitiful and dishonest and precisely what I would expect from the4 Right.
The biggest cause of homelessness in recent times is the effect of Universal Credit, in particular the long wait for benefit, the reason being blackly, hilariously that it will teach the feckless benefit recipient what it is like to get a monthly wage. The upshot being that private landlords are evicting rent defaulters who default through no fault of their own.

Well you do have to remember that at this time of year there's an old white-haired bloke with a white beard dressed in red promising presents to the gullible.

Utter BS

The biggest cause of people on the streets is DRINK an DRUGS, period.

It's an entire underground of addicted individuals which leads them to crime and street living.

Virtually all the people on the streets in my city have accommodation or have refused it or had it and squandered it.

They are on the streets to make money, money for drugs.

Your sensationalist post doesn't alter the truth

Jezbollah ConByn is duping the electorate once again.

Hi

There have been rough sleepers long before Universal Credit was even thought of.

In addition to drugs and alcohol, I would add a third, Mental Illness.

If that were true, and I have serious reservations about such statement, why are there not the places in alcohol or drug rehabilitation centres provided by the scumbag 'nasty party'???

Reasons change with time, the universal credit rules are one common reason for homelessness today. To say the problem existed before UC, therefore, UC is not a factor is just plain ridiculous.

Hi

The only ridiculous statements here are yours.

You simply do not do research or understand the realities of life.

Your basic misunderstanding of things does not contribute to debate at all.
