Eurostar in cash crisis !!
Euro star is seeking a cash bail out from the UK governmentdespite UK having only a 10% stake in the company?
The majority of shares are owned by the French national railway
and a French Canadian company, so the French can be said to be the
dominant shareholders !!
Investors have allready coughed up £200 million extra to try to plug
the finance hole caused mainly by the covid pandemic and a loss of
more than 80% in revenues ??
I would question why they are seeking help from such a minor
player in the affairs of this company ???
And seemingly at odds with EU rules about state aid???

Must be Euro Star l think, which is mainly French and French
canadian owned, but subsidized by the French government in
