Truss already trumpetted she had an agreement? Turned out to be an agreement to hold more talks.

Maybe he'll brings back a new mistress from there - his divorce and Simmonds' promotion to 'fiance' has rather created a vacancy, after all. You know boris' fame....

If you bothered enough to read the news properly instead of through hate-filled eyes you might just have noticed that the report always said there was agreement to hold more talks.
You know, at the same time tariffs were dropped.

And, will boris give on india's demands?

Boris Johnson will urge Narendra Modi, his Indian counterpart, to cut import tariffs on British whisky and cars as part of an ambitious plan to negotiate an interim free trade agreement in under a year.

The British prime minister will announce a target to “more than double trade with India to £50bn by 2030” on a visit later this month to New Delhi, according to a government document seen by the Financial Times, although the note admits that securing a full trade deal will be “challenging”.
The “No 10 note on India Trade Policy” confirms that “mobility will likely be India’s priority offensive ask and will be a sensitive issue” — a reference to New Delhi’s perennial demand for greater access to UK visas for university students and workers. https://www.ft.com/content/b14abd2b-...a-825d38c9b6b8

Somebody that can't even post a link properly and then supplies evidence of nothing whatsoever apart from that a chat is going to happen supposedly to deny the possibility of any agreement is hilarious, Solly!

Try these bits instead:

" observing that [India's] negotiations over the past decade on an free trade agreement with the EU, Australia and New Zealand had all stalled."

“India is recalibrating its China policy and wants to pursue deeper trade relationships with reliable partners such as the UK.”

If a hint of deal is forthcoming boy are you gonna be cheesed-off.

It's particularly hilarious that boris is going off to india seeking a trade deal , hoping primarily to sell them cars and whisky. He seems ignorant of the fact that whisky is a Scottish product which very possibly soon won't have a lot to do with his little-england and that virtually the only 'british' car manufacturer which is not EU-owned - Jaguar-Landrover - already belongs to Tata of india.

Ah, now you're getting it.

Indian companies already invest here and manufacture here so there's opportunities galore ........ and you're really worried that we're going to do well, aren't you?

They earn money, spend money and pay taxes here too which boosts our economy.
That's the way the world works Solly old chum, not just the UK.
Everywhere has industries owned by foreign countries.
What have you got against those foreign countries exactly?
Or is it just us?

Sorry sorry I misunderstood. You being a brexiter iI presumed you would be striving for taking back control of your country. You obviously feel quite relaxed by foreigners owning your national resources.
