Re: Having a laugh at 'The Wedding'

Must admit I wasn't going to bother...but returned from Pilates feeling ropey so slumped in front off the tv and watched the whole thing on fast forward stopping occasionally for the dress and the music. (My son always records This Morning so that was handy!)

Thought the dress was absolutely perfect for her. It really suited her.

I think BBC made the right decision, it seemed much more suited to itv imo.

I noticed the horse's head with the blue plume! Who was that?!

And Stephen Fry's next door neighbour was a kid with a massive wig on his head!!!

Green everywhere, not my favoutie colour.

Haven't they all got huge teeth!!!

Re: Having a laugh at 'The Wedding'

I have no interest in the minor-royal wedding but I came across this while reading other news:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-45835711

The Dress.

For many brides what to wear on their big day is one of the most important decisions they'll make.

Ivory or white? A-line or mermaid? Long or short? Fitted or puffy?

But for Princess Eugenie there was an extra factor at play.

The Queen's granddaughter had major surgery on her back to treat a curvature of the spine at the age of 12.

Sixteen years on, and the princess chose to wear a wedding dress that showed her scar, saying she hoped it would honour those who had helped her and inspire others with the condition of scoliosis.

That's something I didn't know about Eugenie, so respect to her for (literally) revealing it on her wedding day .....

I thought that Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, Bride and Groom, seem ideally suited and so natural as well.

Eugenie's dress was gorgeous.

Some of the guests looked bazar, so badly dressed for a Royal Wedding

Ooooh, where were the Beckhams?
Maybe, they were a bit miffed that their daughter, Harper wasn’t chosen to be a bridesmaid over Robbie Williams’s daughter, Theodora (Teddy).

Isn’t it sad that l know all their children’s names?!!
