Correct!!! - I live less than 60 miles from Hastings and have visited there on many occasions.

All good books and relevant to the times they were written. More to the point today is one I read last week: The Appeal by John Grisham. Set in America, of course, but. with TTIP around the corner and our imminent departure from Europe into the hands of multi-national greed, slap up to the minute for us.

When reading the book, I suppose I visualised East London because that's where I am from. It's interesting to see that although a lot of things have changed for the better since those times, there are a lot of things that are exactly the same in the building trade.

The rich lording it over the poor and the poor stitching up the rich.
