Re: Not going too well for Brexit!!!

"Negotiations between Britain and the EU have stalled over the issue of a hard border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, making a no-deal scenario more likely if the deadline is pushed back even further."

Good news!

The sooner we walk away without any 'deal', the better for the country.

Hi

Please explain how a no deal would be good for the Country.

Quite simple really.

We would regain our sovereignty in full.

We would not have to pay the EU's (never-justified) 'leaving fee'.

We would no longer be subject to ECJ diktats.

We would no longer be obliged to continue to pay 'membership fees'.

Etc, etc.

Re: Not going too well for Brexit!!!

.....and remember-all this came about because our PM went to the EU to ask for a better, fairer deal. Had they been fair in the first place,NONE of this resultant sh*t would have happened. Also;if the EU are so concerned about a 'hard' border between Ulster and Eire, let THEM build and pay for it!

Re: Not going too well for Brexit!!!

Seems to be getting worse by the day. Now Boris says we'll get 'diddly squat' from the negotiations.

Even the Civil Servants are now 'voting with their feet' and leaving the Brexit Department in droves.
