Very chuffed mate, thanks.
We'll be looking out for David Gilmour dates from now on. That would be the icing on the cake.

Re: Roger Waters

I know it’s a long time ago now. But we (my late wife & I) were so privileged to get to a Pink Floyd concert at Earls Court back in the 70’s, just after they had released ‘Dark side of the moon’.
They performed the entire album for the post interval part of the gig. An unbelievable experience.

I'll have that actual gig on a bootleg CD I reckon. Just a shame that hardly any videos exist from Pink Floyd's concerts in the 1970's. Surely they must have been recorded? They may see the light of day sometime.

Re: Roger Waters

A couple of weeks later, we got to see Hawkwind perform the Space Ritual, live at Wembley. Another fantastic experience!

Sorry if that’s slightly off track.

Not to far off track actually, FridgeMagnet. The bands are fairly similar. I never got to see Hawkwind myself though.

Re: Roger Waters

And I’ve still got a bunch of original vinyls of both bands stored away somewhere!

Re: Roger Waters

I am a great fan of both Pink Floyd and Hawkwind and have seen both bands many times over the years. I first saw Pink Floyd in the UFO club in London circa 1967 when Syd Barrett was in the band. It was always an experience to see The Floyd live, even in their early days.

Also seen both bands live. Saw Floyd at Earls Court with the Dark side of the moon gig. And Hawkwind a couple of weeks later at Wembley with the Space Ritual!
Both unforgettable!

OOPS! I see I’ve just repeated myself from a few posts back! Sorry!
