So far this summer I've driven to Virginia, seen President Woodrow Wilson's home and Library, took a friend to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY and visited the James Fenimore Cooper home while we were there. Also, went to Hale House, a haunted mansion on Otsego Lake.

Next week, I will be traveling to Manchester, England for a couple for weeks on my own, no tours this time. Any of you Brits who would like to take me for coffee and chat an hour, let me know.

You will get on fine with the Manchester lot RN. Friendly people. I'm nowhere near unfortunately.

Thanks for the encouragement, LD. I'm sure to get along well, as long as I don't behave....I've had to promise that much before coming over. I can't curtail myself anyways.

Just a holiday, but I've been wanting to come back to England for three years. This time, I hope to meet some online friends, and also wander around the area. I love the oldness of this country.
It gives me a peaceful feeling simply by being there.
