Tabby, 1989 /2009
Today I had to make the awful decision to have my old cat Tabby PTS, she has been off colour for a few wks now, but the last couple o days she has deteriorated , she has stopped eating and her breathing is labored...So made an appointment to see my vet, and he confirmed my worries, she was in heart failure.. she had fluid round her heart /lungs.. and we both agreed it was her time to pass over.
She went to sleep in my arms... I will miss the old girl, she has been part of our lives for the last 20 yrs....
Vet said, she probably would have gone on for a few days more, but would have been in distress if we had not taken her today..so I am glad we did..
Sooner a day to early than a hr to late.
God bless my old girl, your daddy is getting your spot ready under your favorite tree, for when you come back home , so you can rest your head where you always like to sit and watch the world go by.
