Re: Strange Dreams!

Carl Sagan had some interesting views on dreams.
He sort of concentrated on identifying our dreamworlds in relation to our brains. As I understood it, our limbic and reptillian brain sections supply all the constituant parts for any dream, nightmare or even perhaps hallucination even though sometimes it is hard to separate these experiences.

I think I remember Carl telling us in particular of the Reptilian Complex where he said," the dragons can be heard, hissing and rasping, and the dinosaurs thunder still."

Nice.

I once dreamed I was eating a giant marshmallow, when I woke up the pillow was shredded to pieces.

Yes I had the same thoughts regarding the original
Lernaean Hydra ( the first Mrs H ) the only difference she could move quickly and deliver her venom like the spitting cobra she became.

To be serious for a mo, Mr Sagan was always a brilliant man to listen to and still is even though he is not of this world any longer.
