What's a fair price?

Any ideas what might be considered a fair price to pay someone to lay about 80 bathroom tiles for me? I will buy the tiles, but they will have to supply the adhesive and grout.

How big are the Tiles? They will be cuts made in them and also you will have to remember they will be calling again to do the grouting. So that is all time consuming. It could work out a little expensive..

Yes Sue, but how much is acceptable?
They will probably be 6" tiles (or metric equivalent).

it's best to ring around and get a few estimates, that's what I always do before making a decision

I suspect they will calculate their charge by the sq mtr being laid, as someone else said ring round and get quotes. Personally I always get three quotes and then pick the one I like best (not necessarily the lowest)

Re: What's a fair price?

That's a tricky one, the biggest unknown is the condition of the wall (or floor if that's the case) and the amount, and difficulty of cutting required.
80 tiles sounds like a days labour, so that depends on the Tradesman.
