Looks like we are in for another battering this weekend with the arrival of Storm Jorge (pronounced 'Hor hey' - not 'George')

I also wondered about that. Storms are usually named alphabetically which made me wonder even more. There is a reason for this not to be the case this time, it's not to do with our Meteorological Office either, see the link below:

That explains it. We should put a stop to all Spanish storms now we are out of Europe.

Hi

We are already back on Flood Warning for parts of the town.

It has been raining heavily since the early hours with only a few breaks.
