I've been sitting uder my apple tree, today, waiting for an apple to fall to ground.

So far, nothing has happened.

That proves that "v=u+ft/a half ft squared "is a load of rubbish.

Or is that acceleration?

i'll have a snooze instead.

Acceleration is defined as the rate of change in velocity divided by the rate of change in time. Simply put, a = (v - u)/t where, a = acceleration, v = final velocity, u= initial velocity, t = time.

Didnt you leave out resistance to movement Percy?
Or are all calculations based on operating in a vacuum??

Frictionless and air resistance free systems only DM. Why complicate things when you don't have too?
