If that's the case, a) it's no wonder people choose to use their garages for storage and keep their cars outside and, b) isn't about time that the building regs were revisited and minimum garage sizes upgraded?

That is true, Poohdog.
My son can't get his car in his garage either. He says even if it did squeze in, he wouldn't be able to open the door to get out!

The cynic in me thinks that here is another way for the council to grab more money off the motorist.

There'll be huts every hundred yards, or so, with a uniformed operative spying on the parkers through his binocs.
