Blooming wind

Hung some washing out today .
Then pottered about in gale force winds in the garden .
Can you believe a shirt with peg attached blew off the line and hit me in the eye !
So I will probably have a shiner tomorrow .
Oh happy days back in the uk

OK Understand the sad face, always difficult if you have had a great holiday to return and especially when leaving family. I just wondered if you had been living abroad and came back..as I am planning to come back this year after living away for 5 years, hope you don't think I was being too nosey.

Re: Blooming wind

Muddy weve had blinking awful wind storms and rain all month . I lost fencing panels and its cost me a fortune to replace all with concrete posts and better quality panels so I'm still.spitting feathers about the wind and the cost .

Hope your eye is ok . I hate battling the wind

Anyway glad your back safe

I have lived abroad in various countries for over 40 years .
Coming back to the uk has not been easy I feel like an alien and I don’t feel that it is my home .

Did Mungo go loopy when you came home Muddy?

Psst, I must confess I thought you'd got a 'problem' when I read the thread title.

I haven’t seen him yet Mups .
We have to self isolate and my sons wife is an asthmatic.
A serious one - she never goes out without an inhaler and has other health issues too.
So we are waiting at least five days perhaps more .
They are happy to keep him longer and he won’t mind .
It does seem funny being home without him .
