Re: Ghost towns

TessA... I bet it feel weird walking around there too.

Like a scene from a science fiction film. But a beautiful place

I was looking at a live webcam in Rome, if it were not for the odd bird or Police van drive past, you would think you were looking at a photograph.

Mind looking at the webcam in Stockholm, theres a lot going on there.

Re: Ghost towns

There's a lot going on in Derbyshire too, someone hosted a ruddy party with a load of adults and kids!

Thats another thread sorry.

I am my dads carer and I cooked his Sunday dinner today and I hardly saw any cars, coming home I counted 5 including mine so perhaps in some places it's sinking in with the people

Re: Ghost towns

Apart from a few young chaps speeding up and down the Gorge sometimes in the evenings it's been very quiet here. I wonder if they'll be holding any raves on top the Gorge this year?!

Re: Ghost towns

The Police have been pulling cars over, also walkers are being questioned especially if there are two or more.

Of course there have been complaints, as most are youngsters.

Re: Ghost towns

That will be the last time I venture that far, only a few streets away but, from now on my dog walks are getting shorter daily in case Dolly has to stay in the garden at some point or even in the house which would be awful.
