To Non Pet Owners.
TO NON-PET OWNERS who visit our homes. Don't complain about our pets. (1) They live here, you don't. (2) If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture. That's why they call it 'Fur'-niture. (3) Chances are, I love my pets more than I like you. (4) To you, they are animals. To me, they are family ...who are hairy, walk on all fours & don't talk back.

One of the good things about having Schnauzers is you won't find any dog hairs , they don't shed their coats.My family know me well enough to realise my dogs come before most humans, other 'visitors' are not encouraged here, I am trying to be a recluse as much as possible..

I have this poem on my front door which says it all for me.If you don’t want to be greeted
with paws and swinging tails,
don’t come inside because
dogs live here
If you don’t like the feel
of a cold nose or wet tongue
don’t come inside because
dogs live here
If you don’t want to step
over many scattered toys
don’t come inside because
dogs live here
If you think that a home
ought to smell of perfume
don’t come inside because
dogs live here
But if you don’t mind all of this
you will be instantly loved
when you come inside because
dogs live here
