Size matters in Trade Deals, the bigger the market, the better deal you can negotiate.

We have got absolutely nowhere with Japan and India.

The Trade Deal we have just agreed with Switzerland is on worse terms than the one we had with them as part of the EU.

All trade deals involve country of origin certificates, minimum percentages of finished goods must be produced in the Country or Trade Block which is party to the FTA.

When we leave the EU we become a Third Country, this is already affecting some companies in the West Midlands who produce car parts.

There has to be a sense of reality here.

It will be some time before we can negotiate Trade Deals to replace those we have as part of the EU.

Do I have to explain this again ?????

Hi

Yes, simply because your statements make no sense.

As a point of fact, the EU is not stopping us signing trade deals at all, we have announced we have signed some, we have announced that we have.

As for Japan having the worst deal ever, they are happy with it.

Look at what the EU is doing to Switzerland as a result.

As for Japan, they are far from happy, it's one of the reasons they are being so cautious with the UK.

Hi

The same as Trump was doing to Canada, Mexico, China etc.

It is a big bad world out there and everybody is looking after their own interests.

The EU will do whatever is necessary to look after it's own interests, not ours.

Our Politicians do not put the UK's interests first, they put their own interests first.

If they had put our interests first over the last 40 years we would not be leaving the EU, we would be running it alongside France and Germany.

The EU wants Switzerlands money. It's not the first time they have threatened to tear up their bi-lateral agreements because they wont become a fully integrated member of the EU.

Look what happened when Swiss pegged its Swiss Franc to the Euro - it was a complete disaster. The Swiss don't want the EU - they want to be a sovereign nation like us.
