In an emergency, I will use a steam brush, much easier.
It was a good make, too.

I well remember having to iron first, all of my brother's jeans when I was a teenager, and then later, my own gorillas jeans. I hated it.Each pair of jeans - Inside out, the the waist, seams and hem first, then a clean, white cut pillowcase continuously dipped into water and squeezed damp before doing the rest of the jeans. in a haze of steam!
