Had to laugh at the comments made by the QC in charge of this case.

"Democracy demands responsible and honest leadership of those in public office"

Since when?
Hilarious!

That was my first thought. If and when this case is over with, perhaps we can get Abbott on the stand. Every sentence she has ever mumbled is probably statistically wrong.

Obviously this case has nothing to do with 'political stunts' as Mr Ball calls it but more to do with thwarting Brexit once again, I mean there are a million things that MPs could be accused of lying about, it's what they do best so why pick on this one?

Personally I hope Mr Ball is thrown out of the court.

Just a continuation of the campaign to overthrow the Referendum decision

What about Project Fear? - We're gong to get World War 3, financial disaster, and all the rest of it
To say nothing of the £9 million of extra publicity for Remain, that we all had to pay for

Perhaps we could crowd fund that and get Camoron and O'Bummer in the dock.

I wonder if that 350 million figure came from the FullFact web site .... ooh that would be ironic.

Our honest, highly professional, legal professionals will, at last, be able to make a little money.

Maybe this will all take the place of those adverts for recovering money from banks etc?

I can see it now:-

" Have you ever been told a lie, by a politician, call us right away and we'll get you compensation....."

Re: Boris to face Trial

Hi

I am hopeful that whatever the outcome of the case, it will encourage all Politicians to be more careful in future about what they say.

They have treated us like idiots for decades with their ridiculous claims and statements.

Rather than prosecuting Boris it would make more sense to make all Party Manifestos and Party Political Broadcasts subject to the Trades Description Legislation.

That would be fun.
