She is an interesting person as a male and female she was speech writer for the chief of Army, since leaving the army she has become a quite well known cricket writer. She is also a Member of the Order of Australia

Catherine McGregor is a national treasure here. She is one of the great intellectuals of our country while at the same time being a down to earth person with a great sense of humour. She is also an activist and pioneer for women's rights and the rights of the transgender communityand she fights ignorance, stupidity and bigotry like the commando she is. She is brave and brilliant and she is respected in all levels of our society, especially the sporting world. She is also a very scary cricketer.
In fact she is one of my great heroes. Lt Gen Morrison nails it all. Thanks for this post Muddy.
