I have seen via TV and magazines many happily married men - who then confess to their wives on their sexuality, they go on to dress as a woman some, have the op. Amazingly and thankfully, their wives support them and they remain together, true love ......

There is a lot of talk about transvestism and transsexuals in my experience they are very different and neither are homosexuals it's all a bit of a muddle in this thread though.

That isn't true only a small proportion of men who dress in women's clothes wish to actually be women.

Does it matter if we 'cross over' Julie - or shall we start another thread - 'transsexuals' .... theres a thin line between the two, difficult to tell 'by looking' which is which .....

As you've met some Julie - have you ever discussed it with them? I've read the medical viewpoint but I don't understand why they,for instance, prefer wearing womens underwear rather than say, silk boxers or something more masculine (which a lot of them do only wear womens' underwear).

Although I'm fairly broad-minded, I do struggle with this one.

There is a huge gulf between them ! So it's confusing to talk about them together IMO
