Thoughtful and brave post, MKJ, and I'm glad to hear that you feel strong now. I would second the suggestion that you still seek help/diagnosis though, even though you have managed it yourself to date. You might be surprised at what might be available to you, so why not consider it? Noone can force anything on you, but you would have the opportunity to make an informed decision once you know what options there might be.

FWIW, I identify completely with Meg, and am very reclusive.
