The Arctic Circle - you have just become a member!
Congrats UK you have just been granted limited membership to the Council of the Arctic Circle. Why well, the member-countries are: Canada, Denmark (Greenland), Finland, Iceland, Norway, Russia, Sweden, and the United States (Alaska), and they have rights of exploration, and underneath the Arctic ice cap is lots of money!And that is why the observer members of which UK has just become are sitting there watching the full members and making sure they don't make off with too much loot!
Anyone else there ? - yes a population of 4 million Indigenous people who undoubtedly want a lot of the treasures too!
have a full read - it's fascinating if you live on this globe!

My last proper job was in Oulu, N Finland. When Dianne was visiting, we went to Santa's home at Rovaniemi on the Arctic circle. It was 32deg. C!Santa's office was air conditioned and Dianne & me were wearing T-shirts & shorts! We've got the photos to prove it!
Yes folks, there is a Santa.
