Jeremy, like Theresa May will be bound by the referendum and the decisions of Parliament - decisions which are currently delivering a thorough drubbing to the scumbag 'nasty party'.

So speaker Bercow has now given the green light for Contempt of Parliament by six MP's to be levied against the government with a demand to see the legal wording in FULL.
I'd normally agree with the Attorney General, if I could trust the government.

Unfortunately, I can't, and I certainly can't trust May after all she has done contrary to what we voted for in the referendum.

So, although I detest that dwarf of a Speaker, I support his decision in this instance. We all need to know what secrets May is keeping from us.

It will be interesting to see if the vote next Tuesday on the EU deal has the same numbers.

Won't the Attorney General and some government figures be chucked out of Parliament for a period for contempt? Perhaps they won't be able to vote.

Hi

No they won't, certainly not before the vote.

No there appears to be no punishment at all. Well apart from the further distrust of the public towards them, which will bite them on the bum eventually.

Parliament has yet to determine a punishment - that will be determined (if any) next Tuesday.

That they are devising one after the event means to me this has no punishment already set. Most things have happened regularly enough everyone knows the score. No one person was named so they surely can't punish anyone in particular ?

Come on! We all know what will happen: they all look after each other and always have done.

Correct Julie darlin' but only because no other government has been held 'in contempt' previously. The one person who bears responsibility and who might suffer suspension from Parliament as a result, is the Attorney General.
