Long Term Care Facility
Otherwise known as "The nursing home".......
Do you do anything to protect yourself from ending up in the nursing home when you hit an age where you cannot take care of yourself?
Do you feel you are getting very forgetful and it worries you?
Do you tell your doctor how you are really feeling?

I would wish to be in a good quality care home when I can no longer care for myself.

Me too Tara, tho I dread it.
In the UK, do you ever hear of abuse in Nursing Homes? We have it here, and it is scarey. It has been on W5 many times, right in my area..

Nom, I don't quite understand you. Please explain further...do you mean you would kill yourself before going into a Nursing Home?

There is abuse in care homes of course. No doubt my kids would check out the best one for me when the time comes.
