Re: Whether Musical or Not!!

I used to be a classical whistler before I lost a few too many teeth.

I would love to play the banjo. Especially on country style music. Just great to hear it being played in that way. Got no musical talent whatsoever.

Had a few lessons of the clarinet whilst I was at school - teacher was only a locum though and when he moved on, I had no more chance to continue those lessons. To this day I still adore Mozart's clarinet concerto.

For me the flute I come from a musical family, sadly the musical gene seems to have passed me by, even my recorder playing was shall we say.... less than adequate

Snap John, I have a great love of music covering many genres but I cannot play any instrument, even the intricacies of the paper and comb left me baffled. Everything I tried to learn ended in abject failure.

The one instrument I really regret not persevering with was a second hand left handed bluegrass banjo that I had way back.
It was old when I had it but the sound was out of this world.
Sadly my attempts were akin to cats having a barney outside on a still night.
