Re: Now your over 50 are you still a Rocker?

Although I love a huge variety of music styles Rap & jazz is not among them. I consider those two noise. I don't like singers who insist on screaming their tunes. I love alternative music like Jesca Hoop(singer), and Adam Hurst(Gypsy cellist). I love acoustic guitar artists like Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Strunz & Farah, Jesse Cook & Benise. I like singers Josh Groban, Joan Baez, Neil Young, Susan Boyle & K T Tunstall. I like Christian artists Chris Tomlin, Deborah Pira, J.J. Heller, Steph Macleod, Third Day & Andy Park.

I'm an old Rocker so I love Pat Banatar, Pink, Sting, R.E.M., Eric Clapton, Abba, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac & Creed. I love new wave artists like R.Carlos Nakai(American Indian flute), Llewellyn & David Lanz.

I guess this shows the huge diversity of my musical taste. I certainly haven't mentioned everything but what I have out forward illustrated my general love of music.

Re: Now your over 50 are you still a Rocker?

Good old rock 'n roll takes some beating but I listen to very little music these days. However, since you've reminded me, I think on the next bank holiday I'll get the BSA 650 out of the garage, get my leathers on and blast down to Margate looking for some Mods to beat up.

Just to finish a perfect day I'll drink twelve pints of beer whilst listening to "Born To Be Wild" by Steppenwolf, just for old time's sake...

Oh dream on, if only someone would start the bike, ride the 200 miles, do the fighting and drink the beer then I could do the rest........
