Thank you. I had to look it up as I’d forgotten but it’s an Asao Clematis. Here some information on it.

That's a pretty one, Bratti. Don't think I've seen that one before.

I've got four Clematis, but three are small ones just get to about 6ft - 8ft, as I haven't got the room for large ones to ramble.

I have a blue one, which is not in flower yet, a bright cerise one and this white one, both of which have already flowered.
Then a lovely pale pink one with a dark leaf, which is more rampant.

The white one is called 'Miss Bateman', and this is what it looks like.

Very pretty Bratti, I like Clematis but haven't the room for one in my garden.

Miss Bateman is a gorgeous one also. I’ve got that one at the back of our property. Last year I cut it right down so it would start growing better.

Nelly Moser is a lovely white one also.

If they like where they are planted they grow
like weeds.
If they don’t like where they are planted, they barely grow at all.

This one has its roots shaded by growing underneath the garage and then I have a big Hosta bush on top of it so it’s hapoy growing where it’s at.

Thanks Mags. That’s understandable as they certainly can take up a lot of space; even the non climbing types.

Thank you Bratti - I haven't heard of that one. I have several in my garden and just when I think I have lost them up they pop to surprise me. They intertwine with the climbing roses and other things and it tends to get a bit confused sometimes. As you probably gather, my garden has a will of its own, but I like to have something interesting in flower all year.
