Help needed / old song.

I've been humming a tune I last heard about 50 years ago and for the life of me I can't remember the title, maybe someone can remember the name of it so I can Google it and hear it again. It came out in the early 60's and its to an old melody, like an old English folk song, male singer and its more of a comic song. It tells the story of a jealous boyfriend who stabs his girlfriend in a dance hall, "in the middle of her cha-cha- cha". Starts off, 'Now I tell the tale of a jealous male and a girl who loved him so", another bit, "She looked so sweet in her two bare feet 'cos her daddy was on the dole, and her one delight was a friday night when she got a bit of rock and roll". Anyone remember it or am I just going off my rocker.

That was a real treat for me Mary, and it brought back a lot of memories of when I was serving my apprenticeship sitting at a bench with several other lads and laughing at the poor girl getting it in the middle of her cha-cha-cha, boys will be boys. Thanks a million Mary.

I just googled 'in the middle of her cha cha cha' and there it was! Isn't that a fantastic little song?

I had it playing with the speakers on, great song, the two boys will love it, thanks Mags. Whats this I see on the clip, music for gay dogs?, I didn't know the singer was gay, honest I didn't.

Do I remember it?... will I ever forget it!, that used to be my favourite Uncle's party piece on Saturday nights when he came home from the boozer. Lovely to hear it again, thanks Joe.
