Fender, I don't think it is very difficult. Trudeau is known for inviting many cultures etc in to the Country.
As well, if you are low income, you have opportunity for free food, dentist, clothing, prescriptions, housing also unless you have a lot of money.....it is 30% of your monthly income (doesn't matter how much you have in the bank)

Toronto is expensive, but smaller towns like Niagara Falls, Millton, Burington, Oakville, where I live, and London, Woodstock area are good. There are a lot of opportunities in Canada....you just have to do the research...

I helped a friend who worked with me, to bring his family from the Phillipines, he had a wife and 4 kids, and he sponsored them, and when they got here, they had everything they needed.....(because he ended up separated from the wife). Maybe on purpose, I don't know for sure, but she got everything for herself and children so was much better off without him.

She even got into geared to income housing with very low rent. They were very happy and they still love Canada.

Re: Had enough of the UK

PS: I have never met anyone who doesn't love living in Canada. We do have some cold winter months but we get used to it and it isn't that bad.....a few really cold spells during the winter. We have some hot humid times during the summer, but other than that, it is lovely.

Re: Had enough of the UK

Sure Fender, message me tomorrow. Don't know how much I can say to help you, but I will try to point you in the right direction. In the meantime look through that link of each of the best cities and what is said about each.
I live in Ontario, but a lot of people would love Vancouver by the Ocean....

Just beware that if you move to Canada your UK state pension will not be index linked, but fixed...

Love Ontario, though...
