Have Your Tissues Ready....Long Lost Family Is Back On Tonight

A new series of one of my favourite programmes is back on television tonight...ITV1 at 9pm.
I love Long Lost Family, even though it does make me sob my heart out!

Do you watch it?

Rhian, Yes, l do see what you mean.
l try not to cry but l can’t stop the tears and l just blubber. Their stories are both happy and heartbreaking.
I imagine, if l had to give up one of my children and then never saw them again, until nearly at the end of my life.

I watched it last night .
All I could think off was that the children who had been adopted were very lucky not to have been brought up by their biological parents .

No Foxy, it's not.
I'm afraid Davina drives me nuts and I couldn't watch her for an hour (or whatever it is).

I watched it last night too, but I couldn't form an opinion on the biological parents. Back in the 50's there were many families that couldn't afford to feed and clothe their children, but they had big families because there was very few ways to prevent them.

On the other hand, Social services seemed to be stronger in those days, as they removed the children from the parents before they became ill and died

I wonder if they will manage to find the remaining children?

Definitely not OGF. It's that rocking backwards and forwards that puts me off.
