An oldie but a goodie, Burt Lancaster plays a retired Indian hunter who used to hunt the Apache, he's sheriff of a town that's ruled by a bumptious land owner, . . .briefly he's chased out into the hills by the same guy, . . but, he's got a 50 calibre buffalo gun and he's a crack shot.
