Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Sad news from Italy Jac, as you say, good they all met up at Christmas.

Had quite a bit of rain overnight and this morning (much to my son's delight, he was worrying about his wheat and barley). Did my stint in the Cathedral this morning. The Dean calls it the biggest umbrella in the County - we had lots of visitors.

I have broken my favourite necklace so I'm planning an early morning trip to Hereford Sainsbury's tomorrow, it's the only place I can think of that will rethread it.

Sunshine now after a dampish morning.
Treated my friend to an early birthday brunch,it's not til the end of next week but it suited us both to celebrate today.
It's horrible feeling washed out after a bad night's sleep-hope you have a better night Jac.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Total waste of time driving to Hereford - Timpsons (in Sainsburys) no longer mend jewellry. Grrr! Bought a new pair of trousers and drove home in a fret. Phoned a friend in the village who does a lot of craft, especially bead work, and she suggested I bring the necklace down and she would see what she could do. Result! We did it between us and I'm thrilled to have it back in one piece.

Went over this afternoon to see the trophies the little boys brought home from the rugby presentation evening last night. I'm so proud of them
