Have I just got no sense of humour or are other people unimpressed and positively bored by the way the news outlets fall over themselves to provide an I don't believe it stupid April Fool story?

I expect it's me. I've never enjoyed it.

You are not alone DM thankfully radio 4 doesn't seem to subscribe to them but lists the absurdities some of the media would have us believe..

No Meg - Today did a Red Leicester v Blue Stilton crisp feature, wrt the football league. Just before Thought for the Day. 10 wasted minutes - it's not as if there's anything important going on in the country and worldwide for them to report

Another one who reckons that people who don't share the same sense of humour as themselves must have no sense of humour. Personally I laugh at things that I find funny not necessarily things that some others find funny.............nothing wrong with that I reckon !

It's much more difficult to fool people these days because we are too aware. (Apart from politics of course).
