I am sure you must feel a great wave of satisfaction when surveying your handiwork, I always do after such projects.

I did once fit sliding doors when installing fitted wardrobes in my bedroom and that entailed crawling along the joists in the loft to fit a wooden support to the bedroom ceiling

I am a bit past doing that now

Well - it is finally up, hung, or whatever!!

Have a horrible feeling I may be doing it again given 6 months or so. The new door is neither as substantial nor as good quality as the one it is replacing - but it is all I what I can afford at the moment. It is also a little shorter than the old door - so I have had to make a panel to hang it from - looks a bit shambolic at the moment but will be better when I have decorated.
