The lenses in cheaper glasses (glasses direct) are identical to what you get in any opticians what you pay more for in a high street optician is their rent, rates and the frames, I find it hard to believe how expensive frames are in the shops when very similar ones are a few pounds from internet suppliers.

Absolutly agree.. Most are made by big automated factories abroad ..
Just like the frames, a lot of which come from Italy and big names costing mega$$$ are churned out alongside the cheap brands.

You really do pay for the name..
