It happened 15 - 20 years ago? Wow!
Twenty years ago or thereabouts I got on a bus and left my hat on it when I got off. ‘That’s really interesting Vlad! yes..I thought you would like it ..

Don't you think that being on a Forum is a bit like "Eavesdropping"?

Lots of people seem to connect & just take on board many of the discussions without joining in.

What's the difference?

I think the difference is Ted that when you post something, you accept (and indeed might hope) that others "listen in".

However, when you are having a private conversation, then it is not your intention for others to overhear.
