Re: My Hair

My hair is very thick I usually keep it short and a bit messy . I could stand outside and let the birds come and pull it out to build their nests it would keep them warm . It's so thick I get the thinning scissors and cut as much as I can and throw it out for the birds nests

Re: My Hair

Ive had short short hair for 30 years. Now with lockdown I let it grow..
I stopped colouring it years ago I have grey hairs and Ive earned each and every one.

But now it turns out Im allergic to my own hair touching my neck. Ive itched like a flea ridden monkey Ive tried barrier cream excema cream nothing helps Ive even tried putting a light scarf around my neck which helps a bit but as soon as the scarf moves it starts again..
Im hoping that once my hair passes the collar line the itching will stop.

Could you try a different shampoo? If you were allergic to your own hair, your entire head would itch wouldn't it? (I don't have allergies so I might be talking tosh )

No its only where my hair is touching my neck, It hasnt ever reached that far in the past 30 years. Its like wearing an itchy woolly jumper its a contact thing.
I suppose allergy isnt the right word I think more irritation or sensitivity would be a better way to describe it.. darn annoying is what it is.
