A cover for my iMac

Thought it might be a good idea to get a dust cover for my big iMac as I don't use it now.
Looked online and they are a silly price, so I was thinking of making my own ... I can sew

BUT, is anti-static dress/curtain material the same stuff which is used for computers and screens ?

Unsure if this is Technology but have put it in here because I couldn't figure out where else it should go

Re: A cover for my iMac

I have made floral cotton covers for many bits of technology for people, also knitted covers too never been asked to make them anti static. Seem to work fine.

I had been thinking about making a cotton cover but all the ones advertised are anti-static and NOT cotton .... seems a bit odd
