That is just not going to happen.

Same with EU demands for access to our Fisheries.

It is the end game, who blinks first.
This is what is on our Government's own website regarding HGV hours in the EU:

EU rules - Driving hours

The main EU rules on driving hours are that you must not drive more than:

9 hours in a day - this can be extended to 10 hours twice a week
56 hours in a week
90 hours in any 2 consecutive weeks

All driving you do under EU rules must be recorded on a tachograph.

This link provides hours for domestic driving only. There is a difference already.

Working time directive is a failure. It would mean doctors and other emergency services couldn't work longer shifts and taxis would go out if business.

If a uk driver goes over his tacho he can go to prison but other EU drivers don't get prosecuted.

Its a joke!

We were debating HGV DRIVING hours not working time directives (which I agree doctors, nurses, etc should be exempt from - but only until more people are qualified to join them).

You are saying that while being a EU member, you made your own law regarding this, just like you were a sovereign country. By your book that is impossible.

UK plans to drop 'Facebook tax', Mail on Sunday says.

A more reliable source stated:
The UK government has denied reports that it is to drop a recently introduced tax on global technology companies such as*Facebook, Google and Amazon, due to fears that the so-called “Facebook tax” could jeopardise a post-Brexit trade deal.

The Treasury said on Sunday it would drop the*digital services tax*when there was a global agreement on how to tax big multinational tech firms, which pay very little tax in the UK and other countries in which they operate.

I'm reliably informed you send medicins (drugs as the americans call them) around. You are completely familiar with how to handle the required forms. No need for you to ask, unless you like to troll.
